The
Green Mountain Boys Battle Flag.
Ethan Allen and his Green Mountain Boys began carrying their battle flag at the Battle of Bennington. The Vermont Air National Guard has adopted the flag for use again and members on deployment in various theaters of operation carry the battle flag. The VT ANG is proud to carry the old flag while it continues to provide the nation with honorable service, just as Ethan and the Boys did back in 1777 at Bennington.
