157th Air Refueling Wing KC-135 gallery.

 

KC-135E 59-1494 at Pease AFB in September 1989. During their years with SAC, the 157th's KC-135s wore the blue band and the SAC enblem. This aircraft was lost in January 1990 following a ground accident. KC-135A 56-3650 showing early markings and a natural finish, photographed during the summer of 1977 at Westfield, MA. KC-135E 59-1450 photographed in June 1993. The Block B on KC-135E 59-1450 honors Col.William J.Hamilton, a former 157th commander. The Block B was the designator of Hamilton's 95th Bombardment Group in England during WWII. '1450' arrived at Pease on January 27, 1984.
KC-135E 59-1505 was the 157th's only KC-135E painted in "Duck Egg Blue". It was assigned to the 157th AREFG in January 1983. Prior to be given a new color, the aircraft used to carry the nose-art "Pete's Dragon Wagon".
KC-135E 56-3626 was received as a replacement for 59-1494. Photographed in June 1993.
